Watch out, there is a Stampede!

Welcome to Jurassic Park starring the Stegosaurus. He is a herbivore. He is a dinosaur! He is also known as roof lizard!

Did you know  that a Stegosaurus is 9 metres wide and 4 metres high. It also lived during the Late Jurassic Period. Do you know how they became extinct?

They have been extinct for 65 million years now. The reason they became extinct because of meteors. The other reason is because natural disasters and diseases. Some also believe they extinct because of dust blocking the sunlight from shining through.

Their diet is vegetarian, for example fern, moss, short grass and many more. The fossils were found in Western North America and some were found in Portugal and Europe.

If a stegosaurus lived today, I suggest you to stay home and avoid the stampede!
