Reflection of the reading Sirach 17 : 20 - 28: God is able to see our actions. Our lord knows that we are not perfect, but he gives us the opportunity to repent and ask for forgiveness for all our sins.
Ideas for fasting:
- Stop sinning because it is the main cause of us breaking our relationship with Jesus.
- Anything that can take or family apart from conversation or bonding. Such as electronics or gadgets
- Things that will break the relationship and bond with Jesus and God. Such as greed and wealth.
- Anything that allows us to drive away from the right path and leave from the path of God.
- Fancy food or items are not as worth as Jesus himself.
